| NRC and Agreement State regulations require that certain types of sealed sources be tested for leakage every six months. Regulations also require the leak test sample analysis techniques be approved and documented to meet specific radiation detection limits. RSO's Leak Test Kit, and the procedures for its use and analysis are authorized by RSO's Radioactive Material License.
The kit provides detailed instructions to properly obtain and document the leak test sample. All the supplies needed to perform the test and return it for analysis are included. A written leak test report/certificate for each source is furnished.
Kit includes: 2 each cotton swabs in zip lock bags, 1 each wetting towelette, 1 each pre-addressed return envelope, and detailed instructions and procedures. |
